Snapchat Creates Frank Ocean Filters

It’s like coming home from a hard day’s work and realizing bae ate your food or worse, arriving at Chick-Fil-A and then realizing its Sunday.

The level of disappointment the Internet collectively experienced early Friday morning (August 5) while waiting for Frank Ocean’s sophomore album Boys Don’t Cry  was top tier, ugly cry, “why me?” frustration.

And while the Internet did what it does best and gathered memes and gif to express its pain, Snapchat created a Frank Ocean filter that best described how long fans may have to wait for the follow up of 2012 debut Channel Orange

The 28-year-old singer-songwriter hinted his project would arrive in July, yet the month came and went and no new music. Apple Music and the New York Times confirmed fans would hear his new album Friday. Technically, there’s still time left so Mr. Ocean could pull a fast one and release his LP right before the stroke of midnight.

Or not…
